Board of Advisors: Mohamed Faizal Mohamed Abdul Kadir
Mohamed Faizal Mohamed Abdul Kadir serves as a Judicial Commissioner of the Supreme Court of Singapore. He is a keen advocate of education-related initiatives who has received the President’s Volunteerism & Philanthropy Award for his work in developing educational scholarships for lower-income students. He has served on the MUIS Appeal Board and on numerous high-level committees, including the Committee on University Education Pathways Beyond 2015 and the Eldershield Review Committee. Apart from being recognised by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader in 2016 and being conferred the Public Administration Medal (Bronze) in 2014, Faizal has also been conferred several accolades for his work in international conflict resolution, including the Association of Conflict Resolution’s International Outstanding Leadership Award and the International Mediator of the Year Award by the UK Civil Mediation Council and the College of Mediators. He also served as General Editor of “Criminal Procedure Code of Singapore: Annotations and Commentary”. Faizal has also received the Berita Harian Anugerah Jauhari (the Achiever of the Year Award) for his work in public service and for his contribution to community causes, and the Minister for Health Award for his contributions in the Eldershield Review Committee. A graduate from the National University of Singapore and Harvard Law School, Faizal was appointed Senior Counsel in 2020.
